Light of the Synagogue

Light of the Synagogue

Dimensions: 31” W × 46” H

This painting captures a moment of deep prayer and reflection inside a magnificent synagogue. Surrounded by soaring arches and luminous architectural details, the worshippers gather in tallitot, creating a powerful sense of unity, devotion, and tradition.

The soft palette of blues, whites, creams, and golds gives the interior a peaceful, almost ethereal quality, while the figures in the foreground bring warmth and humanity to the scene. Some are immersed in prayer, others in study, each connected by the shared rhythm of Jewish spiritual life.

Light of the Synagogue celebrates the synagogue not only as a place of worship, but as a home for memory, community, and generations of faith.
