Hide N Seek

Hide N Seek

Dimensions: 56” W × 23 ⅛” H

In this painting, I wanted to explore the deeper meaning of hiding—not just from others, but from ourselves and even from God.

As children, we play hide-and-seek, covering our eyes and imagining that if we cannot see the world, the world cannot see us. As we grow older, this innocent game takes on a deeper meaning. We begin to hide behind different personalities, creating versions of ourselves that we present to the world, sometimes losing touch with who we truly are.

At times, we even try to hide from God, convincing ourselves that our thoughts, actions, and secrets remain unseen.

Through the mysterious figures, vibrant colors, and dreamlike atmosphere, I wanted to capture the delicate relationship between innocence, identity, and spirituality.

“Hide N Seek” is a reflection on the masks we wear, the truths we conceal, and the beautiful illusion that we can ever truly hide from ourselves or from God.
