Stages of the Journey

Dimensions: 24” W × 36” H

This vibrant painting tells a story of life’s journey through three stages. At the bottom, the oryx begin their climb through a rugged, colorful landscape, symbolizing the beginning—the first steps of a journey filled with struggle, discovery, and possibility.

As the eye travels upward, the figures reach the middle of the landscape, representing the middle of life’s path—a time of growth, perseverance, and continued movement forward. At the top, the oryx finally emerge onto the open golden hills, symbolizing the end of the journey—a place of arrival, perspective, and peace.

Through brilliant oranges, yellows, and expressive brushwork, the painting transforms a desert landscape into a reflection on progress, resilience, and the passage of life from beginning to end.
